The Board assesses each application against the Board approved qualification requirements and registration standards as published under meeting registration requirements and assessment of applications. There are several possible outcomes for your application for general registration:
You are granted registration if the Board decides, on the basis of your application and supporting documents, you meet the requirements for general registration.
You are refused registration if the Board decides, on the basis of your application and supporting documents, you do not meet the requirements for general registration. If your application is refused we will refund your registration fee. The application fee is non-refundable. You do not need to apply for the registration fee refund, AHPRA will initiate your fee refund as part of closing your application. If required, AHPRA will contact you for new payment details.
If you do not provide all the information required to assess your application within a reasonable time period, your application will be withdrawn because there will be insufficient information to make an assessment.
You can also contact your registration officer to request that your application be withdrawn if you do not wish to continue with your application.
If your application is withdrawn we will refund your registration fee. The application fee is non-refundable.
