The Podiatry Accreditation Committee (Accreditation Committee) has been appointed by the Podiatry Board of Australia (National Board) to exercise accreditation functions for the profession under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (National Law).
Applications are now open from interested persons for appointment to the Podiatry Accreditation Committee.
Applications are sought from registered health practitioners, educators and individuals with relevant skills, expertise and experience in the delivery of higher education, clinical teaching of students, and/or accreditation within the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme (National Scheme) or the health sector.
Applicants must also have a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
The National Scheme has an important role in ensuring the development of a culturally safe and respectful health workforce that is responsive to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples health and contributes to the elimination of racism in the provision of health services.
To achieve this, Ahpra and the Podiatry Board of Australia warmly invite Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples to apply.
For more information on appointment to the Podiatry Accreditation Committee, please visit the Ahpra Careers - Details - Appointment to health profession Accreditation Committees page.
